Afrin ... Armed groups change imams of most mosques in Jenderes town

ARK News: A Human Rights Organization which is working on documenting violations in the Kurdish region of Afrin said that armed groups dismissed most mosque imams in Jenderes town and its villages and replaced them by imams of Arab settlers, in order to encourage a culture of violence in the region and justify the culture of looting and theft.

The Human Rights Organization in Afrin on Friday 2/8/2019 in a report reached a copy of it to the ARK Media Foundation reported that
Armed groups began to change the imams of most of Jenderes mosques and replaced them with imams from Arab component settlers in order to encourage a culture of violence in the region and justify the culture of looting and theft of Kurds' properties in their speeches.

The organization said from its sources in Jenderes town that the armed groups have changed the imams of the mosques in Jenderes that they are the following:

1- Al-Gharbi Mosque: The name of an old Kurdish imam is Mustafa Sheikh Na’asan, he was dismissed and replaced by an Arab settler imam Sheikh Mahmoud al-Homsi and the former imam is still live in Jenderes.
2 – Al-Sharqi Mosque : (Mosque of Abu Bakir) an old Kurdish imam is Khoja Hamid from Gorda village, he was dismissed and now he lives in the village. The mosque replaced by a new Arab settler imam who is Sheikh Ridha al-Homsi.

3 - Yalanqoz Mosque: An old Kurdish imam was dismissed, and replaced by a new Arab settler Sheikh Abu Ali al-Shami.

4 - Mosque Abdul Rahman bin Auf: We did not get more details but was changed to a new Arab imam settler.

5 – Kora village of Jenderes town, an old Kurdish imam was dismissed
And replaced by a new Arab settler imam Sheikh Mohammed al-Hayek from Jobar neighborhood of Damascus.

6. Baflore Village of Jenderes town, an old Kurdish imam Mahmoud Bilal was dismissed and replaced by a new Arab settler imam without mentioning his name.

7 – Aghjalye village of Jenderes town, an old Kurdish Imam Ahmad Bilal was dismissed and replaced by a new Arab imam Sheikh Mohammed Abu Ahmed from Jabal El Hasan.

8- Kafar Safra village: An old Kurdish imam was dismissed and replaced by a new Arab settler imam without identifying his name.

9. Jalamme village: An old Kurdish imam Abu Antar was dismissed and replaced by a new Arab settler imam Abu Muhammad from the east of Aleppo.

10- Tall Sillor village an old Kurdish imam was dismissed and replaced by a new Arab settler imam who is formal-Ghouta.

11. Hajilar village: An old imam was dismissed and replaced by a new
Arab Settler imam Abu Abdullah from Till Dhaman East Aleppo.

It is worth mentioning that militias of armed groups are trying by various means to change the radical infrastructure, development, intellectual, cultural, social and political situation in Afrin region, by dismissing university and institutes professors of Kurdish origin and replaced them by teachers of Arab settlers who have not even received preparatory school, in addition to changing imams of most mosques with imams of Arab settlers.
