German NGO Signs Agreement with BCF to Help Reduce Poverty in Iraq
ARKNews: The Kurdish Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) and the German humanitarian organization Wings of Help(LOG) have reached an agreement to cooperatively collect funds from Germany and other European countries for poor people in Iraq and Kurdistan Region, said a statement on Sunday.
According to a statement by the BCF office, a copy of which was sent to ARKnews, the pair signed the agreement on Saturday in which the German non-governmental organization will be collecting funds and logistics from European countries, while BCF will deliver the aid to the targeted people across Iraq.
The deal is expected to last for at least one year before it is renewed, the statement added.
It is worth mentioning that the Barzani Charitable Foundation manages some camps for displaced from Iraqi provinces and migrants from neighboring countries specially Kurds of Kurdistan of Syria in the Kurdistan Region and provides them with assistance and safety.
