To all components of Hasaka society, and particularly our people in Girke Lage,

Greetings,

We, the family of teacher Hassan Kalash, amid the difficult circumstances surrounding his abduction, would like to clarify the following to the public:

First: Our case is primarily a humanitarian one, and all we ask is for him to return home safely.

Second: We have noticed that some social media pages and media figures have rushed to accuse specific parties without evidence or proof. This is completely unacceptable. We have not accused any party or entity, and therefore we ask everyone to refrain from anything that could undermine the humanitarian nature of this case.

Third: We categorically reject turning the abduction of teacher Hassan Kalash into a widely circulated media story or a field for competition on social media. This is a serious humanitarian matter.

Fourth: We affirm our respect for all political and social groups and institutions. We believe that differences in opinion or political thought should not be a reason to level accusations against or insult any party. Differences of opinion should not destroy bonds of goodwill.

Fifth: We call on everyone to act responsibly and objectively. Please remember that his family and children read what you write and see what you publish, and this leaves an indelible impact on their hearts. Fear God in your treatment of them and take responsibility for your words and posts.

Sixth: We appreciate every effort being made by the relevant authorities and call on them to intensify their efforts to determine the whereabouts of teacher Hassan and secure his release.

Seventh: We appeal to anyone who was present in Girke Lage, particularly in the Nawzad Street area, on Wednesday evening between 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., and who saw any people, vehicles or unusual activity, to contact us immediately. Any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could provide a lead to finding him.

We are living through difficult circumstances, but our hope in God remains strong that he will return safely.
