Kurdistan Region Peshmerga Ministry Denies Receiving Air Defense System

ARK News.. The Kurdistan Region’s Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, denied reports circulating about the arrival of an air defense system at the ministry.
In an official statement, the ministry said reports published by several media outlets and social media platforms had falsely attributed the information to a source within the Peshmerga forces, stressing that no authorized official had issued any statement to that effect.
The ministry emphasized that the reports were “completely untrue” and categorically denied that any type of air defense system had been delivered to the Peshmerga forces.
