A politician to ARK: America does not favor the Roj Peshmerga because it wants forces that do not reject a request for it

Nawaf Rashid, a member of the Political Committee of the Kurdistan Yekiti Party - Syria (one of the parties of the Kurdish National Council in Syria), on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, said that America does not favor the Roj Peshmerga forces because it wants forces that do not reject a request, and the Syrian Democratic Forces work in return and have no objection to joining the Syrian regime army.

Rashid said during his participation in the ARK newsletter Wednesday that America is looking for alternative forces for the Syrian Democratic Forces in Syrian Kurdistan and the Arab regions, especially from Arab clans and other components, and therefore has two goals to end ISIS cells and dispel Turkey's fears. Therefore, it wants to reconfigure the rebels of Raqqa and finance it, knowing that the SDF had dissolved the faction and placed its leader under house arrest.

Rashid explained that it is not difficult for America to replace one force with another, and its position is unclear and hesitant, but it works in favor of its agendas and strategy, and the Syrian Democratic Forces, too, have no objection to joining the regime's army, so America is looking for alternative forces for it in the region.

He stressed that America does not favor the Roj Peshmerga forces (the Kurdish National Council in Syria, the political umbrella for those forces) because it wants forces that do not refuse orders, and any area America wants to go to, whether in Raqqa or Deir Ezzor, Tal Rifaat and the Arab regions, the forces operating under its command must obey for those orders.

At the end of his speech, he said that the Syrian Democratic Forces operate as an emergency force and have no objection to heading toward other regions, because it came in agreement with the regime at the beginning of the war in Syria, then changed its name to SDF, and will return according to the same agreement.
