Saudi Arabia Reaffirms Right to Defend Its Territory
ARK News.. Saudi Arabia has reaffirmed its inherent right to defend its territory, resources, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens and residents, and to take all necessary measures to protect its security in accordance with international law.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Saudi Foreign Ministry called on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities, particularly the permanent members of the United Nations Security Council, to implement relevant Security Council resolutions and provide full support to Yemen’s legitimate government in confronting the Houthi militias and ending the threat they pose to Yemen, the region, and the wider world.
Saudi Arabia also renewed its commitment to providing political and military support to the Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemeni government, with the aim of ending the coup and restoring the state and its institutions from Houthi control.
