Israeli Army Launches Series of Airstrikes Across Lebanon

ARK News.. The Israeli army announced that it had carried out a series of large-scale airstrikes targeting more than 80 Hezbollah-linked sites in various parts of Lebanon, stating that the operations were conducted in response to what it described as “repeated violations” of the ceasefire agreement.

In an official statement, the Israeli army spokesperson said the overnight strikes targeted command centers, rocket-launching platforms, and military infrastructure in the Nabatiyeh area and other locations in southern Lebanon, including sites both inside and outside the “security zone.”

The statement also claimed that the attacks killed dozens of Hezbollah members who were present inside the targeted command centers, stressing that the military action was aimed at neutralizing threats that constituted breaches of the existing understandings.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced in a statement on Friday morning that 18 people were killed and 33 others wounded as a result of the Israeli strikes that targeted towns and villages in southern Lebanon over the past several hours.
