Syrian Civil Defense Responds to 202 Fires and 19 Traffic Accidents in One Day
ARK News.. The Syrian Civil Defense announced that its teams responded to 202 fires and 19 traffic accidents across Syria in a single day, resulting in 18 injuries.
In a statement published on its official channels, the Civil Defense under the Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management said that on Tuesday, June 16, its teams responded to 19 traffic accidents across the country, which left 16 civilians injured.
The Syrian Civil Defense added that its teams also responded to 202 fires nationwide, including 24 fires in fields and crops, and 178 scattered fires involving homes, shops, grass, trees, waste, and electrical wiring.
It noted that the fires caused injuries to two civilians, who were given first aid by response teams, while the rest of the incidents resulted in material losses only.
