Faisal Youssef: Date for the Kurdish Unity Conference to Be Announced Upon Completion of Preparations

ARK News.. The official spokesperson of the Kurdish National Council (KNC) in Syria, Faisal Youssef, confirmed that preparations for the upcoming Kurdish Unity Conference are progressing steadily and that the event will be held as soon as possible.

In a statement posted on his official Facebook page, Youssef said:
"Preparations for the Kurdish Unity of Rank and Position Conference are advancing with steady and determined steps, driven by a strong and tangible will to ensure its success and convene it at the earliest possible date. The concerns and apprehensions of the Kurdish public regarding potential failure are understandable, as they stem from past experiences. This requires us to draw lessons from previous setbacks and obstacles and to avoid repeating them."

He continued:
"We stand with great respect and appreciation for the views of our friends and brothers, as well as the legitimate demands of the Kurdish Street, and remain committed to fulfilling their aspirations."

Youssef stressed that the Kurdish National Council is moving forward with unwavering determination, sparing no effort in this endeavor. He described the unity of the Kurdish position as a strategic and irreversible choice aimed at realizing the hopes and aspirations of the Kurdish people within a democratic, decentralized Syria.

He concluded by stating:
"Once all necessary procedures and arrangements are completed — many of which have already been accomplished — the official date for the conference will be announced."
