Kurdistan Democratic Party and Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Issue Joint Statement

ARK News.. The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and the Kurdistan Patriotic Union (PUK) held a meeting on Saturday, February 22, 2025, in the city of Sulaymaniyah. Following the meeting, the two parties released a joint statement.

The negotiating delegations of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Kurdistan Patriotic Union held a positive meeting on Saturday, February 22, 2025, in Sulaymaniyah.

The meeting focused on presenting and discussing the report of the joint committee between the two parties, which included political and administrative visions, as well as steps related to forming the 10th cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government and other institutions.

Regarding the report's content, both negotiating delegations provided their observations and deliberated on the appropriate mechanisms to organize agreements on all issues.

The delegations agreed to continue their meetings to strengthen mutual understanding and formulate a joint program that serves the interests of the people of the Kurdistan Region.
