French Delegation Meets with the Kurdish National Council and the Democratic Union Party
ARK News.. A well-informed Kurdish source revealed that a French delegation met with the Kurdish National Council in Syria and the Democratic Union Party in the city of Qamishlo, in Syrian Kurdistan.
The source told Basnews that on Sunday, February 16, 2025, the French delegation met with both parties involved in the Kurdish dialogue in Qamishlo to discuss organizing the Kurdish internal front.
According to the source, "the French delegation explored the possibility of drafting a joint political document between the Council and the National Unity Parties."
The source also noted that "the delegation discussed the potential for holding a Kurdish national conference in Syria."
