The Syrian regime excludes new families from the “smart card” support card
ARK News.. The Syrian regime excluded new families from support for some basic items via the smart card, after updating the beneficiary data by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in the Syrian regime government said that it has implemented new exclusions for families whose head of the family, the “electronic card holder,” has resided outside Syria for more than a year.
The Ministry confirmed that the exclusion came after updating the data of the beneficiaries of “government support” within the family electronic cards, who are inside Syria and whose data is linked to the Immigration and Passports Department.
The Ministry continued: Those entitled to support from the people who benefited from electronic cards will be returned three months after their return to Syria without any human intervention.
In late June, the Syrian Regime’s Council of Ministers announced the restructuring of support towards thoughtful and gradual cash support, and demanded that holders of electronic cards (smart cards) open bank accounts in order to transfer support amounts to them.
