Under the slogan “The people want to overthrow the regime.” Demonstrations continue in Suwayda
ARK News… Demonstrations demanding the overthrow of the Syrian regime continue in Suwayda Governorate, southern Syria, and are witnessing an expanding public momentum to include all segments of society in all its regions.
On Friday, December 8, 2023, Karama Square in the center of the city of Suwayda witnessed a central demonstration that included hundreds of participants from all segments of society in the city, carrying slogans demanding political change and the implementation of relevant UN resolutions.
The demonstrators expressed their rejection of the regime, demanding its overthrow, chanting the following slogans: “The people want to overthrow the regime” and “Bashar, we don’t want you.”
Three months after the start of the demonstrations in Suwayda, they still maintain their peaceful character and slogans calling for improving the situation and changing the ruling system.
