ARK News… With the emergence of signs of a crisis represented by the scarcity of the popular drink "mate" in the markets, queues formed in front of shops and kiosks in Tartous Governorate, western Syria.

Syrian media sources said that dozens of citizens stood in queues in front of the city's kiosks to buy Yerba Mate, after it was cut off and its price rose without justification.

According to media sources, the price of a box of Mate has reached about 20,000 Syrian pounds in the markets, and is sold in kiosks for 15,000 Syrian pounds, which forces citizens to stand in waiting lines.
