The Kurdish National Council commemorates the 58th anniversary of Amouda massacre

ARK News: The Local Kurdish National Council in Syria revived the 58th anniversary of the Amouda cinema massacre that killed hundreds of Amouda’s children.

Where a delegation from the Kurdish National Council in Syria on 13/11/2018 visited the shrine of the martyrs in the city of Amouda and put a wreath on them and some of them gave were a few words, and asked to open a serious investigation into this massacre and reveal the motives of this incident.

58 years ago, Amouda lost more than 280 children after they had been burned in Amouda cinema, while they were attending a special film to support the Algerian revolution. Since then, the circumstances of the fire and the reasons for the incident have not been revealed.
