Afrin … Militias of Sultan Murad beat a civilian activist
ARK News: The media activist "Bilal Saryoll" reported to Aleppo Today, the militias of the faction, "Sultan Murad," arrested him several days ago, and beat him, in the city of Afrin Kurdistan.
"I was arrested on Thursday evening (November 7th) from the Velat street in Afrin city by gunmen of the Murad faction," Bilal Saryoll said in a telephone interview with Aleppo today, “while I was taking pictures in a civilian street zone that is available to all people."
"I was severely beaten, then was (ghostly) for two hours, deliberately torturing me, beat me to the place of an old injury in my back, waist, and stomach suffered as a result of the bombing of the regime on the eastern Ghouta."
"After midnight on Thursday, I was taken to another area called Kibar village, and then they continued to beat me again, when they learned I was wounded in my stomach and my leg, they continued beating me on the face, legs, and arms. I was attacked several times, then was set free on Sunday, Saryoll added. "
The media activist expressed his regret over the ill-treatment he had received from the militias of the faction of Sultan Murad, saying: "We came out of Ghouta because of the injustice of the regime to us, and it is regrettable to be oppressed in the north, especially in Afrin, and I do not think I will forget what I have suffered."
Activists took pictures of the media activist, Bilal Saryoll after he was released from the prison of Sultan Murad faction, three days after his arrest without a clear charge.
For its part, Sultan Murad faction did not clarify details of the incident or the reasons for the detention.
Bilal Saryoll is a media activist displaced from Douma city in eastern Ghouta, who was seriously wounded in 2014 after being targeted by an air strike while documenting violations of the Assad regime by his camera.
