The fifth anniversary of the abduction of the member of the Area Committee of PDK-S Idrees Alo

ARK News: Today, is the fifth anniversary of the kidnapping of the political activist and a member of the Area Committee of Kurdistan Democratic Party-Syria (PDK-S), the lawyer, Idrees Alo is in Afrin city, who was kidnapped by the PYD militants after attacking his home and taking him to an unknown destination, and his fate is still unknown till this moment.

Idrees Alo was born in 1968 and lived with his wife in Afrin, Ashrafiyah neighborhood. Since the beginning of the Syrian revolution, he has been against the Syrian regime and has participated in several demonstrations. Alo worked in the profession of law as well as his media activity the, and because of his remarkable activities among the rebellious youth, the PYD set its sights to arrest him. After a short period of time, masked elements kidnapped him and led him to an unknown destination.

Idrees’s family tried several attempts to find out his fate, but all attempts did not lead to a result because of the refusal of the so-called self-administration in Afrin of charging him for kidnapping or arresting him, and the PYD on their part also denied, they said, "There is no one with this name."

In Kurdistan of Syria, many politicians and active cadres of members of the PDK-S have been kidnapped, such as the leader Abdulrahman Abo, Ahmed Sidou and others were abducted by the PYD organization, who were abducted illegally and are still in forced detention and in poor conditions.
