Afrin … Armed groups loot olive fields and impose fines on each tractor carries olives

ARK News: Elements of armed factions and groups who control the villages of Shara town harvested the olive crop and stole it randomly from the fields belonging to citizens who are in their villages or out of them, without religious or moral deterrent, and the checkpoints of those factions impose fines to any tractor which carries the olive to pressers.

A special source from Shara town told ARK News that “the elements of al-Nukhba faction who controlled the village of Darwish, belonging to Shara town harvested the olive crop and steal it randomly from the fields belonging to Kurdish citizens in their villages and outside whenever they had opportunities without moral deterrent, especially the group belonging to Abu al-Mu’tasim.”

The same source added that “the two checkpoints belonging to the Sultan Murad faction, which are located at the entrance of Meydanky village and the road leading to the dam, impose money on each tractor which carries the olive load and passes through the checkpoint."

The source also said that ”the elements of Suqore al-Shamal faction checkpoint in the village of Gamrouk of Shara town impose a fine on tractors which carrying olive to pressers, although all factions take a share of 10% of the harvest in all Afrin region, which was determined by the Local Councils during the distribution of the shares in presses."

It is noteworthy that the pro-Turkish army factions, which participated in the occupation of the city of Afrin, committed dozens of crimes against the people of the city and its countryside, killing, kidnapping and torture, along with looting and theft, burning agricultural crops and forests, the seizure of property of citizens, and the destruction of monuments and religious.
