Muslim Mohammed: Without a political solution in Syria, the drafting of the constitution is not enough alone because the structure of the regime is security which overshadows the laws and constitutions

ARK News: A member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Syria, Muslim Mohammad in regarding the resignation of De Mistura said: De Mistura is a Swedish aristocrat, he was the UN special envoy to Syria, and after four years of his duties demanded his resignation from the Security Council. Without a political solution in Syria, the drafting of the constitution alone is not enough because the structure of the regime is security which overshadows the laws and constitutions.

A member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Syria, Muslim Mohammed said to the Kurdistan Democratic Party-Syria site, that says De Mistura has no part in finding a solution to the Syrian crisis because the international forces during the past four years did not stand by him so he tried to adapt to the attitude of major countries such as America and Russia, especially Russia, which became the first player in the Syrian crisis.

Mohammed added that the biggest and most dangerous work on the Syrian crisis which was done by De Mistura was to abort negotiations of articles 12, 13 and 14 of UN Resolution 2254 and to prolong the Syrian crisis and to give the military superiority of the Syrian regime from the beginning of 2016 until the Battle of Aleppo to Ghouta and then To the south of Idlib.

Mohammed pointed out that De Mistura provided 4 baskets as the basic solution of the Syrian crisis, but unfortunately they did not work on any of the baskets accept one which is the constitutional committee and avoids the discussion of the basic basket, which is the interim government. However, if there is no political transition in Syria, the constitution alone is not enough to solve the crisis because the Syrian regime In its rote is the security regime and the security regime sees itself above the laws and constitutions.

Mohammed stressed that De Mistura and with pressure from Russia separated the file of humanitarian action from the political file, and this was a game and within this game he created multiple centers to solve the Syrian crisis, while Geneva was the main center of the solution, however, the Sochi and Astana conferences were established and thus abolished the basic status of the solution, from these centers, Astana, which became an umbrella and under this umbrella ended the political solution and military action began and thus the regime won against the opposition. De Mistura also did other things, such as the establishment of platforms, and these platforms became a way to divide the opposition and to dilute the Syrian issue and stumble in favor of the Syrian regime.

Mohammed said: "The lack of existing of consensus and a common political vision of the regional and international countries made De Mistura fails in his mission, and De Mistura became a symbol of an international failure in favor of the regime and De Mistura became a witness to the burning and displacement of the Syrian people and through his adviser and deputy the Egyptian nationality Mr. Ramzi, has reached to the hand of the regime 16 billion dollars.”

In conclusion, Mohammed said: "De Mistura visited on October 24, Damascus, to be summoned by the regime to discuss the constitutional committee so that De Mistura’s page will be folded at the end of next month and with his resignation he will bring us back to square one."
