President Barzani receives the delegation of the Civil Council of Afrin saving
ARK News: President, Masoud Barzani received on 23 October 2018, in Salahuddin the delegation of the Civil Council Afrin saving.
At the beginning of the meeting, the delegation offered its congratulations to President Barzani on the occasion of winning the list of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Kurdistan Parliament elections, describing the victory as a pride and a source of hope for all Kurds.
The delegation also addressed the political and humanitarian situation in Afrin region, the conditions of the city's residents, the displaced, and the threats of various forces which aimed to change the demographic situation in that Kurdish region. They reviewed the details of the violations which committed against the Kurds existence in that region and complained the international community to ignore the violations which committed against the population and the nature of Afrin.
On the other hand, President Barzani expressed his deep concern about the future of Kurdistan of Syria and the situation in Afrin, declaring that what has happened in Afrin and is still happening is an extension of the series of disasters and injustices committed against the people of Kurdistan. Explaining to the guest delegation his views on the political equations in the region and the future of Syria and Kurdish Afrin.
