Israeli Force Incurs into Wadi al-Raqqad in Western Daraa Countryside
ARK News.. An Israeli military force entered the Wadi al-Raqqad area in the Yarmouk Basin of the western Daraa countryside, according to a Syrian media source.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), an Israeli force consisting of four military vehicles advanced on Friday, July 24, 2026, through the Tal Abu al-Ghaithar gate toward Wadi al-Raqqad. The force remained stationed for several minutes at the valley bridge before moving toward the outskirts of the town of Jamla, near the Saysoun–Jamla road.
The source added that the Israeli force established a temporary checkpoint in the area, stopped pedestrians, imposed restrictions on local farmers, and halted traffic for approximately one and a half hours before withdrawing.
