The Kurdish National Council representative in Istanbul, at 3 pm on Sunday, held a funeral ceremony for the writer and member of the leadership of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, Tawfiq Abdul Majid Hassan, who passed away on Saturday in the city of Istanbul, Turkey.

It is noteworthy that the late writer and journalist, Tawfiq Hassan Abdul Majeed, who spent most of his life in the service of the cause of his people, born in 1952, married with three daughters, was a teacher of the Arabic language, and worked actively in the newspaper Denge Kurd (Voice of the Kurds) Party’s newspaper, then he became a member of the Central Committee, and after the monotheistic congress, he became a member of the consultative body and remained struggling with his pen until he passed away in Istanbul on Saturday.
