Local sources reported to ARK News that the people of Hasakah city in Syrian Kurdistan are living in a state of panic and anxiety over young children, due to the widespread phenomenon of kidnapping children to obtain "ransom" money from their families.
The local sources added that the 4-year-old child, Haider Firas Al-Ahmad, from the Gweran neighborhood in Hasakah city, was kidnapped some time ago.
Local sources confirmed that the young Wael Aziz al-Turki, who works as a goldsmith in the city of Hasaka, was kidnapped.
