PYD declares its readiness to resume dialogue with the Syrian regime
ARK News: A leader of the Democratic Unionist Party (PYD) announced that they are ready to continue dialogue with the Syrian regime to end the seven-year-old Syrian crisis.
Amina Omar, the leader of the PYD, said in a press statement that they are still ready for dialogue with the Syrian regime, explaining "the political solution is the best solution to end the Syrian crisis."
"The council responded to the call of the Syrian regime to discuss the outstanding issues between the government of the center and the region of northern and eastern Syria, but these discussions have not resulted in finding a solution so far", Omar said.
Amina Omar's comments come a few days after Syrian Foreign Minister, Walid al-Moallem said that "Washington delayed talks between Damascus and the Syrian Democratic Council and provided military support for them."
