The local council in Jenderes issues a circular regarding the olive season

ARK News: The local council in Jendares town of Afrin Kurdistan issued a circular regarding the council's share of olive season production in Jenderes town, and studied during its meeting the problems and obstacles that may be hindered by the process of harvesting the crop and finding proper ways to protect the crop according to the proper standards and according to the requirements of the public interest, and the ARK News has obtained a copy of it.

Dear Gentlemen, the owners of the olive presses
Based on the requirements of the public interest and in order to ensure the safety of citizens and to preserve their livelihood
You are required to comply with the following instructions:

1. Pressing of olive material is forbidden to farmers except by a certified letter from the local council
2. To cooperate fully with the representative of the Council officially appointed by the Council
3. 15% of the farm production is cut and the distribution is as follows:

- allocates 5% for the owner of the press (one-third of the total)
- 10% for the Council (two-thirds of the sum)
4. Any violation of the foregoing shall be subject to legal procedures and financial irregularities
5. The beginning of the operation of the pressers in Jenderes town is 1/10/2018

Pointing that if these decisions and procedures are implemented, it will protect the crop of people from looting, especially the fear of the people of Kurd of the new Arab settlers who seized the homes of citizens of Kurds by force, and fear of the armed groups to put their hands on olive fields and harvest their crops at gunpoint.

It is noteworthy that the pro-Turkish armed groups, which participated in the occupation of Afrin region, committed dozens of crimes against citizens of the sons the region, such as murder, kidnapping, looting, theft and burning crops, the seizure of property of citizens, as well as the destruction of monuments and religious, the latest of which is the robbery of the olive harvest to the people of the region despite the decision of the interim government affirms not to prejudice the olive harvest under the responsibility.
