Nawaf Rashid: Elections of the local administrations of the regime will face several obstacles
ARN News: A member of the representative of the Kurdistan Region of the Kurdish National Council in Syria said that the elections of the local administrations scheduled, which to be held in the Kurdistan of Syria will face several obstacles, and the aim of the Syrian’s regime is to hold elections to confirm the end of the war in Syria for its benefit.
Nawaf Rashid member of the Kurdistan Region representative of the Kurdish National Council in Syria during his participation in the program of Jivat revealed that the intentions of the Syrian regime to conduct elections scheduled, which will be held on the sixteenth of this month, where he said: after all these years of the Syrian revolution, and the war in Syria, the Syrian regime wants to show the world public opinion that the war has ended in its favor, that the Syrian regime is strong and it can still rule the country with an iron fist.
On how to conduct the elections, Rashid added: The elections of the local administrations of the regime will encounter several obstacles on the ground and will not have effective results unless there is an agreement between the Syrian regime and the situation on the ground.
Rashid also said: The Kurdish National Council in Syria have to move at this stage, to prove and confirm his role, and to accomplish what he has to do.
