Local Council of Gharbi neighborhood of ENKS holds its meeting in Qamishlo
ARK News: The Gharbi Local Council of the Kurdish National Council in Syria ENKS held its regular meeting on Friday 30/8/2019 in Qamishlo in Syrian Kurdistan.
In the presence of the majority of members, the meeting began with a minute of silence on the souls of the martyrs of the Kurds and Kurdistan, at the meeting, the agenda was approved by the head of the Local Council and the attendees, where a number of organizational and political issues were discussed at the Kurdish level in Syria in particular and Syria in general.
Then, they discussed the organizational situation in the locality and its three branches and stressed the need for collective action in order to develop the performance of the Council.
Then they discussed some of the proposals submitted by the branches of the local council are: (al-Gharbi neighborhood and the Hilaliya neighborhood and the neighborhood of the Institute).
During the meeting, a number of topics and events of interest to the local council were discussed, especially the status of the councils of the al-Gharbi Local Council, and ways to promote them and develop them in a way that serves the policy of the Kurdish National Council.
The latest political developments were also discussed in the region, especially with regard to the safe area and the French initiative, and the meeting with the British delegation, and on a series of meetings between the Kurdish National Council in Syria and a number of European countries.
Finally, some important points were adopted for the development and progress of the Council's policy.
