ARK News: The so-called Transport and Transportation Authority (Traffic Department) decided on Wednesday, 17.7.2019, to transfer the private vehicles belonging to the rural lines east of Qamishlo city from its main place to the garage of Industry, the decision included the following lines: Small Siha / Siha - Suhail - Khirbet al-Zeeb / Hamara - Yarmouk - Jazha - Tell Ma’arof, and this transfer dispersed the people who showed their strong rejection of it.

The driver (H. a.) told the R-ENKS site that the decision moving the garage had a negative impact on us and the residents, which led to dispersion, especially on students and staff, where the new garage is away from the city center which the passenger has to spend about twenty minutes to get to and from the garage, as it is not qualified and unclean, it lacks umbrellas and protection structures and according to the decision issued that we as drivers if we do not abide by it we will impose a fine and imprisonment.

The student Darin Abdul Karim said: This decision was a surprise and was not in the case where it became a place of boredom among the majority of passengers, especially that we are from the villages and the timing of our vehicles is specific and even the number is not more than two and we spend most of our time on the roads, and since the garage is far from the city center, it will increase the daily expenses of 200 SYP which we have to pay 700 SP per day for transportation only, otherwise we will have to wait for public taxis and this will negatively affect our the time of staff and on my side I sometimes delay, in addition to other students and staff.

The old garage was near the city market and embraced several lines, and the decision did not include Na’matly, Jum’aya, Um Fursan and according to information, the garage will be allocated for private cars.
