ARK News.. Rainwater flooded two displacement camps in Hasaka on Thursday, October 29, 2026, after a rainstorm swept across much of Syria, local sources said. The flooding comes amid renewed calls to speed up the return of displaced families to their original homes.
According to local sources, rainwater inundated dozens of tents at the Washokani and Sari Kaniye (Tala’i) camps in the city of Hasaka, both of which shelter people displaced from Sari Kaniye.
