Merkel: United Nations agreement regarding immigrants is in the interest of Germany

Nov 22 2018

ARK News: German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that it is in favor of Germany to support the United Nations Migration Agreement which is rejected by some countries such as the United States, Hungary, and Poland.

Merkel said before the House of Representatives, on Wednesday that “the Global Compact for the safe and orderly migration and systemic" will confirm many of the conditions that already exist in Germany.

German officials hope to reduce the non-binding agreement, which is due to be approved next month in the Moroccan city of Marrakech, of the flow of immigrants to Germany by ensuring that they expect humanitarian conditions elsewhere as well.
