Masrour Barzani Opens Seventh International Real Estate Investment Exhibition in Erbil

ARK News.. Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, opened the Seventh International Real Estate Investment Exhibition in Erbil, with the participation of nearly 300 local and international companies from 12 countries.

The four-day exhibition is being held at Sami Abdul Rahman Park in Erbil and is organized by Invest Expo with the direct support of the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Kurdistan Region Investment Board.

The event aims to stimulate the real estate market and boost sales by offering special promotional deals and discounts, as well as facilitating access to housing and helping families and citizens purchase their own homes.

Real Estate Sector in the Kurdistan Region

More than 70,000 real estate offices and companies operate across the Kurdistan Region, according to figures presented at the exhibition, with around 7,500 registered real estate offices located in Erbil alone.

These offices conduct hundreds of property transactions every day, including sales, purchases, and rentals, highlighting the scale and importance of the real estate sector to the Region’s economy.

The exhibition brings together developers, investors, and buyers from Iraq and the wider region, offering a platform to showcase investment opportunities and promote activity in Kurdistan Region’s property market.
