CENTCOM: U.S. Forces Continue Full Naval Blockade of Iran

ARK News.. The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said Tuesday, September 9, 2026, that U.S. forces are continuing to enforce a full naval blockade of Iran in the Arabian Sea.
CENTCOM said U.S. forces have redirected 94 commercial vessels and disabled three others to ensure compliance with the blockade since maritime operations against Iran resumed.
The latest figures come amid heightened tensions between Washington and Tehran and growing disruption to commercial shipping in and around the Strait of Hormuz.
