Kuwait Says It Intercepted Iranian Missile and Drone Attacks

Sep 03 2026

ARK News.. Iran launched attacks on Kuwait, saying it was targeting U.S. interests, despite President Donald Trump’s threat to carry out further strikes against Tehran following a round of reciprocal attacks that risk reigniting tensions in the Gulf more than six months after the war began.

The Kuwaiti military said early Thursday, September 3, 2026, in a statement posted on X that its air defenses were “currently confronting hostile missile and drone attacks following the sinful Iranian aggression.”

Meanwhile, Iranian state television confirmed that Tehran was targeting U.S. bases in Kuwait with missiles and drones, describing the attacks as a response to what it called “America’s crimes against the Iranian people.”
