Masrour Barzani and Mohammed bin Zayed Affirm Commitment to Strengthening Kurdistan Region-UAE Relations
ARK News.. Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met with United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, in the presence of UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
During the meeting, the two sides condemned the recent attacks on the United Arab Emirates, stressing the need to safeguard the security and stability of the region.
The meeting also featured a mutual reaffirmation of the importance of strengthening relations between the Kurdistan Region and the UAE and expanding prospects for cooperation and coordination across various sectors.
