The Syrian National Coalition condemns the Iranian aggression on the Kurdistan Region

ARK News... The National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces issued a press statement condemning the Iranian attack on the Kurdistan region, and the text of the statement follows:

The Syrian National Coalition condemns the terrorist attack carried out by Iranian militias in the Kurdistan region of Iraq in the north of the country, using missiles and drones, which led to the martyrdom of 13 people and wounding of dozens, on the twenty-ninth of September 2022.

The National Coalition points out that the Iranian presence in any country leads to the spread of terrorism, devastation, and instability, as it adopts a sectarian approach to achieve subversive expansionist goals at the regional level, and this was evident in Syria, where Iran helped the Assad regime and sent dozens of militias to participate in killing the Syrian people, who demand freedom.

The National Coalition calls on the international community and the League of Arab States to exert more efforts to bring peace to the Arab region by fulfilling the requirements of the people, working to hold war criminals accountable, and removing terrorist arms from the region, so that peoples can decide their own destiny.
