Afrin... Imposing "1.5" US dollars as a tax on each grape leaf tree

ARK News... Armed factions continue to impose taxes on Kurdish farmers in the Kurdistan region of Afrin, coinciding with their entry into the grape leaf harvest season.
Private local sources from the Kurdish city of Afrin said that Al-Amshat militants are imposing an amount of 1.5 US dollars as a new tax this year for each grape leaf tree in the Shih-Afrin district of Syrian Kurdistan.
The Kurds in the villages and districts of the Kurdish city of Afrin suffer greatly from the armed factions, as well as the high taxes and the difficulties and obstacles they face while selling agricultural crops.
