In response to an official invitation, Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region, visits Iran
ARK News… On Sunday, 5/5/2024, the President of the Kurdistan Region visited the Islamic Republic of Iran and met with senior officials in Tehran.
In response to an official invitation from the Islamic Republic of Iran, Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region, visited the Iranian capital, “Tehran,” on Sunday evening, accompanied by a delegation that includes the two Vice-Presidents of the Region, the Minister of Interior of the Kurdistan Region, the Head of the Presidential Office, and a number of Kurdistan Region officials.
According to the Kurdistan Region Presidency website, during the visit, the President of the Kurdistan Region met with senior officials in Iran and discuss with them ways to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation between Iran and between Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, in addition to discussing the conditions and developments witnessed by the region in general.
