Masrour Barzani Orders Promotion of 519 Internal Security Officers in Kurdistan Region
ARK News.. The Presidency of the Kurdistan Regional Council of Ministers’ Diwan has issued an order promoting 519 officers serving in the Internal Security Forces affiliated with the Region’s Ministry of Interior, based on an order issued by Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani.
Administrative Order No. 3080, signed by Chief of Staff to the Council of Ministers Dr. Omed Sabah, states that, pursuant to Regional Order No. 222 and Article 10 of the Internal Security Forces Service and Retirement Law No. 18 of 2011, 519 officers serving in the Ministry of Interior’s Internal Security Forces directorates were promoted as part of the January 9 promotion schedule.
The promotion list begins with Brigadier General Sirwan Salih Khidr Pir Doawud at No. 1 and ends with Lieutenant Rawchi Hassan Salih Ibrahim at No. 519, with each officer promoted to their respective new rank.
The order also confirmed the service rotation records of officers listed under numbers 169, 232, and 263 for their subsequent promotions.
The decision takes effect from the date of its issuance.
