ARK News.. Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received Jeraphorn Jera-Ampaibool, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Jordan and Iraq, on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

During the meeting, the importance of strengthening and developing bilateral relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Kingdom of Thailand in various fields was emphasized, particularly in the area of trade exchange and expanding prospects for joint economic cooperation.

Another part of the discussions focused on reviewing and following up on the situation of the Thai community and Thai citizens residing in the Kurdistan Region.
