The delegation of the Council stressed the importance of strengthening relations with the American side and the importance of its support for stability in the region in light of the collapse of the economic situation and its negative effects on the social and living life of people, which push them to emigrate, in addition to the violations practiced by armed groups affiliated with the Democratic Union Party (PYD) against the Council and its supporters, which recently caused the closure of the Semalka crossing border for their harmful behavior and practices, which offended the management of the Pish Khabour crossing from the Kurdistan region, which increased from the suffering of citizens as a major outlet for them in many areas….

In turn, the US ambassador stressed the strengthening of relations with the Council and his country's support for stability in the region, and that he will address with the responsible authorities the issues addressed in the meeting, and that the United States of America seeks to open the crossing and maintain it for use in the economic and humanitarian field without involving any other issues in its work and creating obstacles in front of it.
