AFRIN… The regime arrests a displaced Kurd in Aleppo

ARK News... A group of Syrian regime gunmen, on April 11, 2021, arrested a Kurdish civilians displaced from Afrin in Syrian Kurdistan without revealing the charges against him.

A source close to ARK News said: A number of Air Force Intelligence gunmen arrested the Kurdish young man, Muhammad Mustafa Abdulrahman, at Kiweres Airport in Aleppo Governorate.

The source added: The young man is married and has three children, and he comes from the village of Gawrike of Jenderes town in Afrin, and resides in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo, since his displacement from his city after Turkey and armed factions invaded the area on March 18, 2018, and the charges were not identified.

For its part, the Human Rights Organization in Afrin said: The young man has been detained since April 11, and he works as a taxi driver, and through his work, he sometimes transfers Russian experts from Kiweres airport to the city due to his mastery of the Russian language, and no information about him so far.

The organization also said: The Kurdish citizen in any region inside the Syrian homeland is exposed to various types of intimidation, insult, kidnapping, and killing, especially during the last period of the Syrian crisis. Therefore, his presence in any area will not be better than other regions, whether they are under the authority of the regime or the PYD, or Turkey and the factions, from this point of view to return and live in dignity within the confines of his home and cling to his land and his region much better than other regions.
