Aleppo: In one day, the University of Aleppo loses three of its professors due to Corona

ARK News… The University of Aleppo Monday, lost three of its professors after they were infected with the new Corona virus, according to the pro-regime newspaper, Al-Watan.

University professors and teaching bodies in Aleppo mourned Dr. “Muhammad Mazen Qabbani,” the head of the Department of Prosthodontics and the former Dean of the College of Dentistry, and Dr. “Diya Moussalli,” head of the Structural Engineering Department at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the university, died.

The newspaper added that Dr. Bassam Muhammad, a professor of plastic surgery at the Faculty of Medicine at the Universities of Aleppo and Hama, died after being infected with the virus as well, to be the third university professor in Aleppo, who died on the same day.

Doctors and former officials in the regime’s medical authorities warned of the spread of the second wave of the Coronavirus in Syria, weeks ago, but the regime’s government did not implement the necessary measures to confront the spread of the epidemic, according to the correspondents of “Aleppo Today”.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Health in the regime's government announced the registration of 123 new infections with the Coronavirus, which brings the number of infections recorded in the regime-controlled areas to 10318, and 11 new deaths were recorded, bringing the total number of deaths to 621.
