For the past 7 years, Beirut Port warehouses have kept the time bomb

ARK News… A huge explosion rocked Lebanon’s capital on Tuesday and left hundreds of people killed or injured.

The explosion hit downtown Beirut in the afternoon and reportedly flattened much of the crowded area.

Footages show a giant mushroom cloud rising above the capital and spreading panic. It has reportedly blown up windows within several miles from the explosion spot.

Lebanese Red Cross official Georges Kettaneh has confirmed “hundreds of casualties”, but did not specify the number in the preliminary report.

Witnesses saw many people injured by flying glass and debris.

It is worth mentioning that for 7 years, Beirut port warehouses kept a huge shipment of ammonium nitrate, but the competent authorities were not aware - apparently - that they were storing a bomb, until it exploded on Tuesday, destroying large parts of the city.
