Million Syrian pounds for the release of a citizen in rural Afrin

ARK News: An armed faction arrested a member of Kurdistan Democratic Party-Syria (KDP-S) in the village of Barbanne belongs to Rajo town in Afrin, Kurdistan of Syria.
“Militants of Al-Hamzat arrested a member of Kurdistan Democratic Party-Syria, Faik Hanan Daoud a week before in the village of (Berbenê) without knowing information about him so far”, according to a special source from Afrin city.
“The aim of his arrest is to pay the ransom for his release, stressing that the Hamzat militias asked his family of one million Syrian pounds for his release” the same source added.
About the security situation in mentioned village, the source added that the shooting at night is almost daily, which leads to the instigation of fear and horror in the lives of civilians, especially women and children, and the aim, according to the source, is to spread the panic among the civilians of the village.
On 21/8/2018, the same group (Hamzat) arrested two villagers, Izzat Khalil Farida and Hanan Khalil Farida, who are sons of Khalil, who died of cruelty after stealing his livestock and agricultural tractors.
