Le Drain: The fate of ISIS has become part of the political settlement in Syria
ARK News: French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said that ISIS operatives held by SDF in Syria cannot be tried in Iraq, due to the conditions there.
"We thought that it was possible to establish a specific judicial system with regard to the Iraqi authorities ... The fate of the jihadists has become part of the political settlement in Syria that started very slowly in Geneva," Le Drian added in an interview with Radio France Inter.
He pointed out that "all these groups are located in places secured in Syria by the Syrian Democratic Forces and American elements, and we will contribute to this in our way to ensure the continuity of this insurance."
