
Afrin ... Pro-Turkish army groups intend to collect olive season by a percentage
ARK News: The Human Rights Organization in Afrin revealed, on Monday, an intention of the leaders of Pro-Turkish army groups in Afrin region, Kurdistan of Syria to collect a percentage of the olive season in the region of Afrin in general or harvest crops of people who have not returned yet to their villages.
“These factions entered the region by decision of the Turkish government and they receive their salaries for their service in the National Army of the Syrian Interim Government, and during the olive season, they will collect a percentage of olive season in Afrin region in general or harvest crops of people who have not returned yet to their villages and lands, the Human Rights Organization in Afrin said in a statement."

The Human Rights Organization in Afrin warned that the violations of "International Human Rights and Human Rights Organizations by delivering these grave breaches on behalf of the people of the region against these illegal practices before international courts because the ownership of citizens is protected in international covenants and conventions."
Eyewitnesses from the village of Diraqliya, in Shara town, said that the displaced families, with the help of the armed group, carried out, several days ago in that village, plowing olive fields by stolen tractors and threatened the residents that they could not return to their fields until the olive harvest is finished, which contradicts to their statements that they will protect the people’s properties.
It is worth mentioning that the armed groups of the Turkish army, which participated in the occupation of the city of Afrin, are committing terrible violations by imposing the royalties on the Kurdish civilians up to thousands of dollars, and the threat of confiscation of agricultural fields and detention on false pretexts and dozens of crimes have been committed and are still committing against the residents of Afrin region, such as murder, kidnapping, robbery, theft, burning crops, appropriating citizens' property, destroying archaeological and religious monuments and deliberately setting fire to forest forests. Now, under the pretext of protecting the olive season, they will collect a percentage of the olive season in the area of Afrin in general or harvest crops of people who have not yet returned to their villages and land in order to protect the people and their property according to their claim.
