Erbil... Five schools close their doors to the students of Syrian Kurdistan
ARK News: Five schools dedicated to educating children of Kurdish refugees from Syrian Kurdistan have been forced to close their doors to students because the United Nations and UNICEF have stopped funding them.
The director of the education of the Hawler Plain Saber Nankili, that the schools inside the camps will remain open to students, and five schools will be closed for students of Syrian Kurdistan belonging to the education of the Hawler Plain.
The schools to be closed are the Krispy School in the Daratu district, the Gire Spi schools in Daratu town, Sari Kaniye School in Sebiran, the Badirkhan School in Shawis, the Dilok school in Bansalawa and another school in Kasnazan.
For his part, the Minister of Education in the Kurdistan Region, Alan Hama Saeed: “We have met with their representatives and left to address the issue of the eight schools, which cost more than 147 million dinars, and as soon as we can save these funds, we will put them the curriculum which they want until they return to Syrian Kurdistan. ''
