آرك نيوز... أفرج مسلحو PYD عن شاب كوردي بعد اعتقال دام لخمس سنوات في سجونه بتهم واهیة.
واعتقل مسلحو PYD الشاب محمد يوسف من قرية عومارا Umera التابعة لناحية شرا في عفرين بكوردستان سوريا بتاريخ 2018 بتهمة التعامل مع الجيش الحر.
مصدر مقرب في حلب قال لـ ARK: إن مسلحي ب ي د أطلقوا سراح الشاب محمد قبل يومين ولا يستطيع الوصول إلى مدينته عفرين.
أكد المصدر أن PYD قام آنذاك بنقل يوسف إلى قامشلو عقب سيطرة الجيش التركي وانسحابه من عفرين 18 آذار 2018 وأطلق سراحه بعد خمس سنوات.
ويذكر أن العشرات من الشباب الكورد معتقلون في سجون إدارة ب ي د بتهم وحجج واهية ولا يزال مصيرهم مجهولا حتى اللحظة.

آرك نيوز... افتتحت مؤسسة بارزاني الخيرية دورة حرفية (صنع حقائب السفر) للنساء في مخيم دارشكران للاجئين السوريين بإقليم كوردستان.
أعلنت مؤسسة بارزاني الخيرية اليوم على صفحتها على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي "فيسبوك", أنها افتتحت بدعم من منظمة (LDS) بتاريخ 3 أيار 2023, في مخيم دارشكران دورة حرفية (صنع حقائب السفر) للنساء.
وأضافت المؤسسة, أن 13 امرأة استفادت من هذه الدورة.

حيث بدء التأبين بالوقوف دقيقة صمت على روح المرحوم وجميع شهداء الكورد وكوردستان حيث تم قراءة الفاتحة على روحه الطاهرة وبهذه المناسبة القيت عدة كلمات منها:
كلمة الحزب الديمقراطي الكوردستاني - سوريا وكلمة المجلس الوطني الكوردي القاها عضو المكتب السياسي محمد اسماعيل تحدث فيها عن حياة الراحل ونضاله في صفوف الحزب الديمقراطي الكوردستاني -سوريا منذ نعومة اظافره حتى رحيله.
محمد إسماعیل قال عنه: مناضل حقيقي ونموذج للوفاء والتضحية ناضل بكل إخلاص وتفان خدمة للقضية الكوردية, وظل وفيا على نهج البارزاني الخالد حتى أن وافتة المنية.
أضاف أنه سيبقى حيا وخالدا في ذاكرة الشعب الكوردي, وسيبقى والمئات من أمثاله من المناضلين رمزا في تاريخ نضال شعبنا الكوردي ولم يرضخ أبدا ولم يستسلم أمام التحديات.
كلمة عائلة الفقيد القاها صالح جميل شكر فيها جميع الحضور على وفائهم للمرحوم وانهم سائرون على طريق بافي اذاد حتى نيل الكورد حقوقهم.

Erbil and Washington are discussing opportunities to promote the economy of the Kurdistan Region and provide grounds for American investors
ARK News… His Excellency the President of the Kurdistan Region, Mr. Nechirvan Barzani, on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, received the US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, Mrs. Barbara Leaf.
During a meeting attended by the US Ambassador to Iraq and the US Consul General in the Kurdistan Region, America's relations with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, areas of joint cooperation, the political and economic conditions of Iraq, the internal conditions of the Kurdistan Region, and the relations of Erbil and Baghdad were discussed.
The two sides affirmed commitment to the schedule and program of the joint memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs and the Pentagon, regarding the reform process in the Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs and the reorganization and unification of the Peshmerga forces. The two sides also agreed on the importance of the unity of the Kurdish parties and resolving the internal disputes in the Kurdistan Region, and positively evaluated the current coordination and cooperation between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi federal government.
Expanding the horizons of joint cooperation between America and Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, especially in the economic field occupied another aspect of the meeting, during which opportunities to strengthen the economy of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region were reviewed, and the availability of the appropriate ground for the private sector and American investment.
In another aspect of the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the war against ISIS, the situation in the region in general, and a group of issues of concern to both sides.

Three years since the departure of the Kurdish artist, Peshmerga Saeed Gabari
ARK News... Three years ago, on this day, May 4, 2020, the distinguished Kurdish artist and Peshmerga, Saeed Gabari, passed away at the age of 64, as a result of lung cancer in a hospital in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.
A brief about his life:
The Kurdish artist, Saeed Gabari, was born on 13. 04. 1956, in the village of “Xirbê Kejê”, east of the city of Amouda in Syrian Kurdistan, and father of eight children.
The artist, Saeed Gabari, knew the art at an early age when his singing talent began to appear at the age of eight, and he was influenced by his mother who used to sing Kurdish folk songs. They memorized the songs together and they met Saydaye Terij” and “Cigerxwin”, adopted his talent, sang many of their poems, and they also met the Kurdish artist, Muhammad Sheikho.
His first song was at the age of ten in Qamishlo, and Amouda, where he sang patriotic, folkloric, and folk songs in difficult circumstances in which the simplest means of copying cassettes, distribution, and audio recording were virtually absent. Saeed Gabari was able to record his first song in 1969 and it was widely distributed at that time.
He held Kurdish folklore and history in his chest and heart and contributed to protecting him from being lost in light of the hostile attacks by the enemies of the Kurds.
The Kurdish artist, Saeed Gabari, died last year, after suffering from lung cancer. He left behind a great artistic legacy.

ARK News... The Kurdistan Writers Union of Syria, Derik branch, sent a telegram of condolence to a member of the Derik Branch Council Haji Wais Mulla Isa, on the death of his fighter brother, Muhammad Mulla Isa.
On May 2, 2023, Syrian Kurdistan lost the fighter Muhammad Mulla Isa, the national figure who fought for decades in service of the Kurdish cause, the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, and the immortal approach of Barzani.

Comrade Haji Wais Mulla Isa, with great sadness that we received the news of the death of your brother Muhammad Mulla Isa, and on this painful occasion, we can only ask the Almighty God to dwell him in His spacious gardens and inspire you with patience and solace.

The Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria holds a funeral ceremony for the late fighter Muhammad Mulla Isa
ARK News... The Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria is holding a funeral ceremony for the late fighter Muhammad Mulla Isa today, Thursday, May 4, 2023, in Kurdistan, Turkey.
The funeral ceremony will be held in Riha, Kurdistan, Turkiye. It starts from two o'clock in the afternoon until eight o'clock in the evening in the city, the deer roundabout towards “Yenişehir”, the fourth street on the left side of (Al Madhafa).
Syrian Kurdistan, on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, lost one of the national figures who fought for decades in service of the Kurdish cause, the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, and the immortal approach of Barzani.
The fighter Muhammad Mulla Isa passed away after suffering from an incurable disease that afflicted him in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.
About his life and struggle
The fighter Muhammad Mulla Isa joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria in 1970. He fought in it with dedication and sincerity in the cities of Kobani, Aleppo, and Raqqa, and remained on the immortal path of Barzani until he passed away.
In an old interview conducted by ARK with him, he said: "The immortal Barzani is a pinnacle of humanity, nationalism, and ethics, and everyone should follow this approach."
Regarding his struggle within the ranks of the party, he affirmed, "We used to go around on foot in every village, city, and neighborhood in order to gather support for the revolution of the Barzanis."
He continued, "The Kurdish people in Syrian Kurdistan sanctify the March statement and the recognition of the autonomy of the Kurdistan Region entity, which came after a long struggle and fierce resistance from the immortal Barzani and his two sons, President Masoud, and the immortal Idris."
The fighter was born in 1950 and comes from the village of "Derfilît" in the city of Kobani in Syrian Kurdistan.
Yesterday in Erbil, a farewell ceremony took place for the fighter, as his body was transported to his hometown to be buried there.

President Barzani is discussing with the two deputy speakers of the Iraqi parliament the political developments in the country
ARK News... President Masoud Barzani, on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, received the first deputy speaker of the Iraqi parliament, Muhsen Mandalawi, and the second deputy speaker of the Iraqi parliament, Dr. Shakhwan Abdullah.
According to a statement from Barzani's headquarters, "During the meeting, views were exchanged on the latest political developments in Iraq, and an emphasis on implementing the agreements and the agenda of the Iraqi federal government."

نقابة صحفيي كوردستان - سوريا: إدارة PYD انتهاكات كبيرة بحق الصحافة والصحفيين
آرك نيوز... قالت نقابة صحفيي كوردستان - سوريا في اليوم العالمي لحرية الصحافة: "إن كثرة أعداد الصحفيين والمنصات الإعلامية والصحف والقنوات الفضائية في كوردستان سوريا لا تعبّر عن وضع حسن لحال الصحافة، وكأي سلطة قمعية تمارس إدارة حزب الاتحاد الديمقراطي انتهاكات كبيرة بحق الصحافة والصحفيين، ولا تتيح لهم البيئة المناسبة للعمل بحرية دون قيود، ولا تأبه لرصد الانتهاكات التي تقوم بها بحق الصحفيين من قبلنا وقبل المنظمات ذات الشأن والمهتمة بحرية الصحافة والصحفيين".
وجاء في بيان النقابة:
«حرية الصحافة محور حقوق الإنسان»
أقرت الجمعية العامة للامم المتحدة منذ عام 1993 اليوم الثالث من أيار من كل عام يوماً عالمياً لحرية الصحافة التي مازالت حتى الآن ورغم التطور على كل المستويات تُحارَب من قبل الأنظمة الاستبدادية التي ترى في الصحافة خصماً لدوداً لها..كون الصحافة الحرة عين الناس البسطاء وصوتهم، والمدافعة الأمينة عنهم..
عنوان احتفالية هذا العام كان " حرية التعبير محور حقوق الإنسان وقد أعلنت الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة اليوم العالمي لحرية الصحافة بناء «على توصية من المؤتمر العام لليونسكو. ومنذ ذلك الحين يُحتفل بالذكرى السنوية لإعلان ويندهوك في جميع أنحاء العالم في 3 أيار/مايو باعتباره اليوم العالمي لحرية الصحافة».
الصحفيون في أماكن عديدة من العالم يواجهون صعوبات جمّة تعترض طريقهم وهم ينقلون الحقيقة للناس.
نحن في نقابة صحفيي كوردستان- سوريا نرى أن العنوان العالمي لهذا العام جاء متناغماً الى حد كبير مع حال الصحافة على مستوى العالم، وطالما كانت الصحافة بحال جيدة، ويستطيع الصحفي مزاولة عمله الإعلامي دون خوف أو رقابة ستكون حقوق الإنسان في عين الرقابة الشعبية، والاهتمام، وينخفض منسوب العنف والانتهاكات التي تقوم بها الأنظمة المستبدة حول العالم بحق الإنسان والإنسانية.
بهذه المناسبة العالمية، نودّ الإيضاح أن وضع الصحافة في سوريا لم يتحسن بسبب استمرار هذه المقتلة من أكثر من عقد من الزمن..والتي يقوم بها النظام في سوريا، وباقي التنظيمات المسلحة المتطرفة، وتقبــع ســوريا فــي المركــز 171 (مــن أصــل 180 ً بلــداً) أي أنهــا تاســع أســوأ بلــد فــي العالــم بحســب التصنيف العالمــي لحريــة الصحافــة لعــام 2022 الــذي أصدرتــه منظمــة (مراســلون بــلا حــدود).
أما في غربي كوردستان فكثرة أعداد الصحفيين والمنصات الإعلامية والصحف والقنوات الفضائية لا تعبّر عن وضع حسن لحال الصحافة، وكأي سلطة قمعية تمارس إدارة حزب الاتحاد الديمقراطي انتهاكات كبيرة بحق الصحافة والصحفيين، ولا تتيح لهم البيئة المناسبة للعمل بحرية دون قيود، ولا تأبه لرصد الانتهاكات التي تقوم بها بحق الصحفيين من قبلنا وقبل المنظمات ذات الشأن والمهتمة بحرية الصحافة والصحفيين.

الرئيس بارزاني ومساعدة وزير الخارجية الأمريكي یؤكدان على أهمية تنفيذ الاتفاق بين الأطراف السياسية في العراق
آرك نيوز... استقبل الرئيس مسعود بارزاني، الأربعاء 3 أيار 2023، في منتجع صلاح الدين في محافظة اربيل، مساعدة وزير الخارجية الأمريكية باربرا ليف.
وفي اللقاء الذي حضرته ألينا رومانوفسكي، سفيرة الولايات المتحدة في العراق، وايرفين هيكس، القنصل العام للولايات المتحدة في أربيل، جرى بحث الأوضاع العامة في العراق والمنطقة، وتسليط الضوء على العلاقات بين حكومة إقليم كوردستان والحكومة الاتحادية العراقية.
كما تم في الاجتماع التأكيد على أهمية تنفيذ الاتفاق بين الأطراف السياسية في العراق، وتثمين خطوات الحكومة العراقية بالصدد إيجابياً.
