Statement issued by the General Secretariat of Kurdish National Council on what is happening in the region of Daraa

ARKnews: Daraa region is under a barbaric land and air bombardment by the Syrian regime and its allies. Hundreds of thousands of civilians have been driven into the wilderness without shelter, most of them are children, women, and helplessness. Among the silence of the international forces and their lack of protection.
Kurdish National Council expresses its deep condemnation and disapproval of the suffering of the parents in Daraa and demands the international community to intervene to stop the fighting and return civilians to their homes and provide services and needs for them and treating the tensioned situation in the country through the relevant international resolutions and not by military options.
We stress on the importance of urgent political solution to the Syrian issue, which has become an international excellence issue, It is the responsibility of the influential States on the Syrian issue to bear their responsibilities to stop the bloodshed and the ruin and destruction of civil and economic structures and an end to the terrible suffering.
