The people of Suwayda renew their demand for the overthrow of the regime and the implementation of International Resolution 2254

ARK News… Dozens of Suwayda residents renewed their demands for freedom, the overthrow of the regime, the immediate release of detainees, and the implementation of International Resolution 2254.

Today, Thursday, 25/4/2024, dozens of people from Suwayda participated in a popular demonstration in al Karama Square in the center of the city, demanding freedom, the overthrow of the regime, the immediate release of detainees, and the implementation of International Resolution 2254.

The demonstrators raised banners with many phrases written on them, including “We will continue with our peacefulness,” “The bloody approach of the regime, and our approach will be peaceful,” and “Cowards die in their hideouts, but the revolutionaries do not care where they die.”

For nearly 7 months, the people of Suwayda have continued their peaceful uprising, which broke out due to the deteriorating living and security situation, to demand the overthrow of the Syrian regime, the exit of Iran from the country as an occupier, and the implementation of UN Resolution 2254, which guarantees the achievement of a peaceful transfer of power through democratic elections under the supervision of the United Nations.
